Thanks everyone & all the texts
It's weird reading stories that other people can relate too. Special thanks to Jay (fordsport) & Mr & Mrs Ridgey for taking time to talk at the start of the year & telling me that they've been thru the same thing & all will be ok

Good news Paul...
I know how it feels we had exactly the same happen to us.
almost seems like the end of the world at the time , but when the kids do eventually come along all that seems another world away.
Good luck to you both.

Congratulations Paul. I remember going for a scan at 6 weeks after our miscarriage just because they wanted to make sure everything was OK. Seeing that little heart beat at 6 weeks was amazing and such a relief and then the anticipation of our 12 week scan. I was so scared that the heartbeat wouldn't be there but it was and thankfully we had a problem free pregnancy.
I really hope that everything goes smoothly for you both, having a baby is the most precious and wonderful thing that two people can share together!! Enjoy every moment of the pregnancy, before you know it the baby will be here and then it will be 3 months down the line and you'll be wondering where the time has gone
Massive massive congratulations to you both!!!

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
FANTASTIC news Paul.
We're in the same situation as you, but ours is due on the 8th March, but we'll be taken in at least 2 weeks early and induced.
We're in having scans every month and my wife see's the local midwife every week to listen to the heartbeat. I recon after Christmas we'll be having a scan at least every 2 weeks, depending how my wife is.
Even better news is that 2 other couples who we've shared our loss with this year is also due within 5 weeks of each other.
Our consultant told us that we can request as much time from the NHS as we like, so if my wife wants more scans or checks, then they are only a phone call away.

nice to see everything is going well...
looks like a girl to me,and if so your heart will melt-mine still does now when i look at my little one-and she is almost 5 now!
we didnt know the sex of danielle but everyone including the midwifes etc all thought it was a boy-to the point we were only looking at boy names, then when she came out they said" here he comes,he is a big lad" and in fact he was a she!
good luck to you all
