Pic Req: wheels on FRS
Help!!
im after some pictures of different wheels on the Focus RS's as i need inspiration as to what to go for.
tried up my 9" MO's from the escort earlier, obviously they sat out to far, but i didnt like the look they gave on the car anyway.
i remember seeing an FRS on 19" Superlegara's once upon a time, but cant remember where.
Would anyone happen to have a picture of this - as ive been offered a set of those at a pretty good price.
Cheers

we do ok on the Railway Karl, make ends meet etc.
it will probably be those wheels i go for in all honesty, but i want to sort out some decent suspension to acompany it, and the brakes are in hand already.
and Lami is the man who will be looking after the power hike soon ish (if hes happy to!?)
You know me tho Karl, the car is bound to get used on track from time to time, and it doesnt help being at the ring with Rainbird each year, and being a Reyland boy

I dont get time to come on here....check my location out always busy me on
the RSOC.
Kelv, the ride is a little harder than std, put some of that down to the 35 profile tyres
tho, ive yet to try it with the stds on tho, although ive been in one with stds
and H&R's and it didnt feel any harder than std.

Cheers Dave & Steven.
ive got the front splitter, fog light shrouds and side fins in carbon on order, and when i can track down a decent carbon bonnet ill be going for that aswell.
i think the OZ SuperLeg's will be the way to go, Kind of sorted out some AP bells and rotors to go with the Brembo's, and the DS2500 pads are sat in the workshop already.
im hoping i can make it a nice looking car thats not OTT. time will tell tho

I'm still convinced, one of the best wheels on the RS
(8x18 ET42)
But I still like these a lot too...(Team Dynamics 9x18 ET35)
But since they are now making the Monte's in ET40, I think I'll be going for them soon

i do like the idea of the 9" wheels.
but i offered mine up earlier from the escort, the amount they sat out was alot as theyre obviously an et20, but there wasnt sufficient clearance on the inner side to pull the wheels in far enough to compensate how far they sat outwards - if i make sense.
i agree the fronts will generate more clearance if the car was on coilovers, but the rears would make no difference as theres another section thats closer anyway.
obviously its achievable, but its going to take alot of work, and some vey carefull thought on offsets etc

I doubt there's that much to plan, your MO's are probably the worst example to offer up because of the offset, you'll never work it out. You best off getting a basic ET35 18" wheel and measuring it from there. When I looked at the RS above in EFE in Holland, there was a lot of clearance, even for coilovers.

Like all brakes mate But it gives ya something fun to do. All my hubs are off the car getting powder coated...I've turned obsessive again with the detail and cleanliness!
Where did you get the paint from?
