quick argument buster for the pf people! focus ST
is the new focus ST 2.5 5cyl turbo a Mk1 ST or MK2 ST?
i was under the impression the mk1 focus st170 was a mk1 ST?
anyone help?

I look at it like this:
Mark 1 ST - ST170
Mark 2 ST - 2.5 Turbo ST
Mark 2.5 ST - 2.5 Turbo ST (Facelift Model)

** Edit, can see the point of view that the ST only started with the new shape 2.5 Turbo Focus and that the older model was an ST170 rather than 'an ST'.

Yeah this is what im saying but these idiots on the sxoc are all saying the 2.5 ST non face lift is a MK1 ST coz they rekon the ST170 isn't classified as an ST 
they're like cant believe someones arguing with "MARK" about cars blah blah!!!

naa seriously dude this guy on the sxoc is some kind of god or something... everyones just killing themselves for him. he says Ford pay his wages which makes him right!

on the same stroke though ford have said the mk6 fiesta is a st150 and then 6 months down the line its a fiesta st
exactly same car but ford have called it 2 diff things
in my eyes the first focus st is the 170 version
