Default Leaking thermostat switch on cossie radiator?

On the bottom of the radiator, tried a new gasket but no joy, the radiator is new aswell.... I think the thread is a bit loose. Any decent sealant or anything i can use apart from that stuff you put in the header tank???

If you are talking about the switch at the bottom of the rad (right hand side) that is the fan switch, another one would be the better option and put some silicone sealant round the thread before fitting

Oh! and never use rad weld in a cossie

If you have a new rad and it doesn't have the correct thread for the rad/fan switch it needs taking back, otherwise use LOCTITE 5900 or 5910, you can use this on pretty much anything even around the home, bit pricey but there's a reason.

Thanks I'll try one of them, that should sort it. I've had the radiator for ages, just not been on the car so maybe a little tricky to do, otherwise I would. Thanks guys.
