Default MOT testers.....

Morning guys.

I've just been offered a full time position as an mot tester in one of the local garages near me.

What i would like to know is what is the average wage for a mot tester??

I'll be working a 5 and a half day week, 8.30 til 6.

Cheers

some variation around the uk, I'm on £350, over 5 days but with a good bonus scheme.

£350 seems low compared to what some have mentioned but some testers I've spoke to in our local area are all on similar

one and a half days in a class room, then a couple of hours in the workshop being shown how to test a vehicle and then a multiple choice exam for 30 mins.

then you have to book vosa to come to your workplace to see you do a complete test.
