Default 2004 Mondeo Speedo Bulb ** SORTED**

Can anyone tell me how to remove the clocks so i can repalce a bulb as only half the speedo lights up

And yes i know i should buy a haynes manual just not got round to it

Used to happen on my old mondeo, it wasn't a bulb gone, just a dodgy connection! With the lights on, every time it went off I gave the top of the dash a firm thump, that made it come back on Could be worth a try first!

there are 2 screws that hold the front facia in place at the top
remove them and it "should" be clear to you as to what to do

just don't break anything in the dash as it's a pain in the butt to sort

alternativly, click the meg in my sig to teleport your internet to the place to find the answers

I have tried thumping the dash which worked a few times but now it has given up

Just been outside for a few hours trying to strip the dash what a shite job

I have managed to get the dials forward abit but not much but how the hell to get get the bulbs out

i carnt even get the bulb out thats the easiest to get to let alone the one i actually need to changed

the whole instrucment cluster needs to come out to change the bulbs really, you can't just stick your hand underneath and have a feel for it

How do i get the whole lot out

It will only pull forward so far

I can see the bulb and sort of reach it but just not sure how the bulb comes out

Used a pair of pilers

Do you know what wattage the bulbs are?
