Default Zetec: Using Silvertop rods & pistons on blacktop crank & block?

Is this even possible?

I was under the impression it wasnt and you have to use a matching silvertop crank.

This is in a blacktop block btw.

arnt the cranks the same ??? my mates got a big power zetec silver top and its got rods and pistons from America in it and they didn't do the silver top out there.
