dont suppose it would matter if you had a hole in your bucket
i think alot of peoples jobs in a knock on effect can be of a highly dangerous effect to other people, althought the jobs themselves are second nature to many of us as we do them everyday - we dont feel they are dangerous until something happens or catches us out.
then the reality suddenly sinks in.
its not so much the danger aspect, but being in charge of other peoples safety and welfare is as high a responsibility.
or am i talking bollox

Tim, i didnt even think of that being on your doorstep.
i guess you guys were there on the scene or part of the rebuild process afterwards.
that pendalino was a mess, wasnt the whole thing derailed, and 90% of it overturned!?

it was alot worse than the press saw,no broken windows my arse!!!
i know 100% what happened and have a copy of the TD movements that caused the accident, and its nothing like the raib report of last week!!!the truth is alot more sinister than you would beleive!!i was one of the last men to actually yest them points, but yet never interviewed by the police!!best say no more on a public forum.

Would be interesting to know what happened at 9/11 - but I guess we will never really know
The people involved and who were there in the building might know some stories, but they will get disregarded by the people that know "the truth"
Princess Diana - Its been a while now, havent documents been released yet?
She wouldnt have died for a laff! assasination? Yep.

Deal with drunks the mentally ill , drug addicts and very violent people on a daily basis, but i very rarely feel threatend or in a situation i could not handle.
Could say the risk ould be a 8/10 , but learn from training and experience dealing with the risks becomes second nature.

i think mine is quite dangerous i work offshore on all types of installations and the chopper ride out there is bad enough never mind the fact that your basically sitting on a bomb which could erupt at any time lol.
I dont think like this or i would be to scared to work there it pays the bills so i just have to get on with it

Hard to say really, I test at 50,000V but thats often safer than regular 240 as theres so many safety nets in place so to speak. Saying that though, we do alot of works for hospital electricity feeds and not me thank god but someone in the same game turned them off (by accident) whilst someone was on the slab who died because of it. Danger to me is about 7, what I could inflict on others is definatley a 9. Bit morbid for a friday night

I would say my job is a 6. I am a machinist so huge hunks of metal spinning round at couple of thousand RPM can be scary but the amount of gaurding there is proberly helps take away some of the risks. However from the way they go about safety you would think it is the most dangerous job in the world.

the job i used to do i would say was about 2,maybe cut yourself with a new blade or get an electric shock on testing equipment.the last position i held in the company was final inspection of the work.the outcome of not doing my job properly, that would have deffo been a 10.aerospace,mod,hospitals,NASA.the very first time it kicked off in kosovo i had to travel to bracknell to repair some work which needed modifying.i had voiced my opinions when making them and the mod where aware but wouldn't cough up on the extra for the job and were shipping everything out to kosovo.you know what they were for ?,communication masts for the army and they knew they would fail and still sent them.how fookin crazy is that.i used to worry like hell the thought of people being cut off from from everybody else in the middle of the desert.a lot of people could have died.anyway eventually they did see sense and the company were paid to rework everything.so it cost the mod 2x !
