Exclamation coworth hub carriers

as above folks,

are escort and sapphire front hub carriers the same as XR 4x4 Sierra.

if not does anyone know what is the difference in them please.

Sapphire and Escort Cos are the same the XR4x4 range isnt

would i be right in saying Xr4x4 has a different strut angle, resulting in a different amount of camber?

the brake caliper mounting lugs on the xr are in a different place, I had to swop the hubs when putting cos 4x4 brakes on my track car..

the whole hub sits further in on the cossie than it does on the xr

if you ask someone who's got standard rims on to take a pic of their cossie and then compare it to the xr one youwill see how much further in they sit

Agreed, I had to change mine over when i fitted cos 4x4 brakes to my old XR.

Are cossie 2wd hubs the same as a normal sierra 2wd hub?

not quite, pinch bolts at the bottom and tapped holes for the brake lugs

the 3 door versions give you different handling but i'm not sure if that's to do with the rest of the suspension or not

mike r spoke about it as have several others in the past

Default hubs

All im concerned about is the calliper fitting etc as iv got a spare pair of standard sierra 2wd hubs that i am using as templates to fit 330mm discs and brembo callipers.Are these dimensions the same?

they measure up the same yes for brakes etc

it's only the hubs fittings on the lugs that differas they are bigger and about 1mm out for the cossie to normal hubs
