dojj - if that is true about the watches than me and my mate got done years ago.
We must of been about 13 in a Mcdonalds car park on BMX's when this fat bloke in a Mondeo (brand new out back then) rolls up and produces these watches and then shows us the advert in the magazine which made em look really genuiine.
My mate who apparently knew his beans on watches was sucked in. I only really got suspicious when the bloke in the car gave my mate a lift to the cash point and stood over him waiting for the cash.
Still my mate was happy in the end..........i think!

Buying shit like this Fuels theift, you create a demand for stolen goods. Next week it could be your car or your TV that some fucker sells. And as long as their is stupid people out in the world, theift will continue ...

That was a great scam that was, and the best thing was it wasnt illegal.
They showed you something 'worth' £550 and then sold it to you for anything from £50-150
But the even better part was, they came with Warranties and if you sent a faulty one back, it was replaced
I have to confess I made a few quid on the secondary market for those things Krug Bauman or soemthing like that.
Gucci do this all the time, except they sell you their £550 watches for £550

Had someone try and sell us Mercedes-Benz watches a while back. Said he worked for Mercedes etc etc. But the stupid idiot turned up in a beat up Yaris lol.
We got him down to about £20 instead of £60 and then told him to bugger off cause we dont want them.
