Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd

Telephone: +44 (0)1243 384000

A quick call to their service department and I'm sure they could tell you .

I suspect they may well tell me to fuck off Mike, even if it was to an owner, its Rolls Royce.

Rolls and Bentley are notoriously a pain in the arse, even if they could make money from it, dont even usually quote power figures etc do they.

Asking anything, even to helpful dealers, gets you nowhere...

Cosworth would only supply the infomation to Bentley and Bentley have the info archived somewhere and don't give it out, even to us. Also the chap who headed up the project for Bentley is now retired which complicates matters further.

That's why I suggested the service department, as you might find someone that would just go and measure a crate engine for you .

I know how hard it is, im trying to find info on an aston martin engine as i need a new head gasket, but no bastard will tell me anything.

It seems with these "sorts of cars" the thought of one having to ones own work on the car is just not done!

best i could find it this

http://www.wagoneers.com/FSJ/tech/En...swapchart.html

you should be able to take an average from these.

If not

theres a rolls royce restoration company in my village, if you have no luck i could always ask them, im sure they would help. got loads of the 6 3/4's sitting there!!
