Had a great day on friday

Parking in the city centre in glasgow and was 9 minutes late getting back to top up my ticket and guess what a dirty big ticket on my window

Now my question is that everything is correct on ticket but on colour description of vehicle it says white but my van is silver

Can i get out of it >?? its the council

id say no as the reg is correct.
i tried to get of a speeding ticket once that the copper wrote out as doing 47 in a 50 instead of 47 in a 30. the offence code and reg were correct so i had no luck.

my girlfriend works for TFL and she said to appeal it, you might get lucky, it all depends on who deals with your case, they may let you off.

As said if reg plate on ticket matches your van then pay up as the reg is all that matters really to confirm its your vehicle

Contest it & once its been dragged out it will only end up costing you more ŁŁŁ than the ticket

pay it mate, as you are in the wrong.

The only way I can see is to wait until you get something through the post then say you weren't parked there, and that the van is stated as white and your is not, hencemust have been a cloned vehicle, may or maynot work.

But really aint worth it.

Fucking makes me sick though, 9 minutes no infact it was 8 minutes, ffs you get screwed constant in this life!!

To right if i caught the bass that gave me the ticket he or she would get a mouthfull! why the fuck not, if anything it would make me feel a little bit better !

write in and explain that you were only 9 minutes late
due to the short time you were over you would appreciate some leniancy in the matter
send in a copy of the payment if you have a sticker for the window, if you were on a meter then you might not be so lucky
and also, when was the ticket issued?
there shoudl be some leeway on the amount of time they have to wait ebfore issuing you with one

i got one the other week in the van that was timed 2 minutes before i'd actually got parked up so i went there with proof of the times and they squashed it straight away

i dont know about down south but in edinburgh if you pass the time you pass the time . no leniency.no mercy.no hope.

well london is the same as in edinburgh if your a minute late, your late! if you pay up you will be wasting your time trying to contest it because once you pay you have accepted the ticket. you could give it a bit of the 'cloned vehicle' treatment, they may not be able to prove themselves.
