Doug,
So he's going to put a 318iS engine in it (which is what came out of the Redline car) .
So a 3.2 Evo engine with GT35 - . What about the VANOS etc - can the S8 control all that, or is the VANOS being scrapped?
He should go for the full Skyline conversion though, 'cos at least that engine is designed for turbo-ing and there are loads of bits available .

Skyline lump then goto TOTB and clean up Just imagine the arguments that would cause in the skyline and all camps when a Ford rocks up with a jap engine that will confuse em

I was actually building cars and not talking about them but I have been known to take time out for the camera's haha

So RIP...the engine must have been fooked ...i learnt the hard way too although not so dramatically and it never fooked the main engine parts....i learnt do it properly in the first place..wise words.....i heard you was revving to 9k on std lifters ...although dont worry about it mine will be a molten mess soon

omg the pain the pain
well its winter and new projects under way
i may be breaking the car to fund and supply parts for the new idea
as for the engine well its like this karl said my solid lifters and stuff will be here this week

but me being me has a 2 many revs and looses tractoin in 4th gear and with 9000 plus revs the valves say enuf is enuf
wrc block now scrap
good job i got a diffent type of engine to replace it
