Hello everyone, I wondered if someone could give me a little bit of advice.
I had 5 months ago a gorgeous Xr2i lowered spaced wheels the usual. Then I decided to drop an RS Turbo lump in it.
I've done all the nitty gritty stuff changed the whole lot wiring loom, ecu engine mounts engine (der!) gearbox new intercooler, new rad everything.

Guess what the bastard wont run properly and I have no idea what it is. It revs upto around 3,000rpm then wont go any higher. I can build up the revs to like 4,000rpm but if i put my foot down it just coughs and splutters.

I've rebuilt the head using my old XR2i top which only had 47,000miles on it, made sure its timed correctly but still it wont rev up....hmmmm?

Any ideas?

cheers

Check your fuel pressure and get on Bosch 044 pump.

Did you use the XR2i fuel rail & reg ??

I think the Fiesta's are in tank pumps arn't they ?? Change the fuel filter also for an rs turbo item.

No, not sayin that at all, but it won't help the situation !!

Main suspects will be the pump & fuel pressure regulator. Assuming your running the rs turbo injectors, ecu, map sensor etc ??

I'd defo say it's fuel related tho, going from your vague discription pal !!
