Default cd code help

Can anyone do me a code for a ford cd 2040 serial no 0117344 part no 94AP-19B160-AA ... Tried 175 no go and 6328 no good either ... thanks very much....

Sorry to say this mate but ive had the same problem for the last 6 months, ive tried every calculator i can download tried paying for it over the net and hit a brick wall everytime. I can do most Ford Radio codes but cant for the life of me sort the CD Players out

By the way you an alsolok these CD playes out to the point of where it wont let you enter any codes, so be careful of how many attempts you have at it, on radios you can turn the ign. on for 30mins etc and it'll let you re-enter once locked out but cant even get this method to work on the CD player, Whats It in M8 an Escos ??

yes mate an escos... got the code for the radio simple enough but cd player just wont have it.... some have said a 3 dig code but its a 4 for sure as 4 dashes on screen ... what button do you enter the code with ?

cos400 no mate - on side its got FD -2040- R- 0117344......

As far as i know that cd player is actually made by Sony and has to be sent off to get the code sorted. Ford used to be able to do it, but i'm not sure they can now.

thanks mate ... it does say sony corperation on the side... maybe thats the answer then... fook it!!! nothings easy is it !!

Thought I'd shed some hope on these Ford optional extra cd players for the Escort cosworth I have found a guy who has direct contact from Ford and can supply the code for only £5
