Saw A New Focus RS Today! Edited To Include Pics!!
While parked in my local garage on the phone a new focus RS pulled in and filled up with v power! It was in black with foreign plates on, the ford badge was removed from the front.
Looked stunning even though it was filthy!

That sounds as though it could easily be one of the test mule cars that were being used over at the ring & in germany for development coming back into the uk or going to ford uk - i would imagine at this stage that there will be a few mules in the uk as well for testing purposes seeing as the car is meant to be released by mid '09
Of course there is also the possibility of it just being a foreign bodykitted focus st

ah class so you would be maybe th only one out there to hav one? off th subject of the rs.. im thinkin bout heading out there next month was wondering if was much work out there still? could you pm me any advice m8 would be grateful,cheers hugh..

That looks tough as you like
The finish does look a little shonky though, looks like it might even have fibreglass bumpers judgeing by the fit of them, lets hope this is just a test car thats been thrown together

We saw the exact same car at the ring in July. It was on black wheels then and was even dirtier.
Proper ford test car, cos there were radios and extra wires all over the dash area.
British drivers as well, cos as we all swarmed round it taking photos, the driver and passanger got out, obviously fed up at having their photo taken LOL

The diffuser on the test car at the ring was all melted and scorched on the n/s. Mind you the test car exhaust tail pipes were much bigger than the motorshow cars. Dunno which size will make it into production?
