Not exactly something you should be doing yourself unless you're aiming for crap finish... Why do you want to cover it in vinyl anyway? Maybe on a taxi, bus etc, but not something I would want on my pride and joy.

be worth paying to have it done to be fair, pretty tricky to do it.

My mate wrap F1 and touring cars, don the RED BULL F1 car and the two audi lamon (?) cars iirc along with many others and it takes some skill to do it right.
