Default Need A push:)

hey there, live in new zealand and own a 1990 sapphire 4x4 cossie and have been looking at a 1997 escort cossie motorsport edition, done 5476mls, completely standard, and is up for sale for just under 45k, here lies the problem, I want but my countries economy says otherwise and this is slap bang in the middle of my brain, one side says yes, the other says no and then there is the economy argument in the middle, for those thinking about it, yes I have a very large migrain headache

don't get me wrong I love my sapphire to bits and I still have a few more things to finish on it, but i feel these sort of things only come up once in a blue moon and I would be either mental retarded or just suicidal not to think about it

so I open up the floor to you guys, let you thoughts out, although I pretty much know most of them will say grow some balls and get it

cheers hadyn

If in doubt....go without!!!!!
Escort is newer and less miles, but it's more expensive and is the same car mechanically so apart from looks there's not much advantage. My personal opinion, I'm sure you'll get others who disagree.

Hadyn, Where in NZ are you? I assume you mean the White one on TM, if so I like it very much(apart from painted splitter) it is priced well I think and I am sure if you offered less than asking it would go. Has been for sale for a while now.

Problem for me is coming from UK I know that $45k would be a hell of a good UK EsCos, but can't bloody register here, so I am waiting till 2012 for the 20 year rule

Show us your Saph!!! Good to see someone not into bloody drift Cefiros hahaha.

I would look to do a deal sub-asking price. Surely, the economical woes are widespread, so may effect the seller, too?
