mine wnt on fine prefectly

are you sure its not your cross memeber

take a look at it as its common for people to overtighten the bolts and it brings the cradle ends together so there not straight, ive seen a few like this and its a bitch to get stock tca ins with rubber bushes

I had similar, but a much larger size out than that I think.

I had to get the cad plated spacer things machined down at a local engineering shop to fit. My cross member was fine, they had either machined them incorrectly or sent fittings for a different make of car.

This is how mine was, the crossmember had been overtightened so they were a bit stiff to get in but not the TCAs problem.

Anyone else having problems as I must have sold over 120 sets now and never heard this ?

Dave your problem was when we changed from an imperial bolt to a metric one (the metric one wouldnt go throught the spacers fully so it was nothing to do with the actual spacing width)

Is it at all feasible for someone to have overtighten the previous bolt and clamped up the crossmember slightly ?

Im baffled ??

If it is 2mm Dene we can machine 1mm off each side for you thats not a problem.

The cosworth Ford spacers are CNC made in batches of 500, and just come out of the same parts location as all the others have done previously.

Something has to be odd somewhere

Ok sussed it I think.

Neil on packing and dispatch has been putting recent orders out with the extra rose joint side spacer covers

Those dust covers are only supost to go with the competition compression strut kits.

Dene, remove the two 1mm rubber side covers from the rose joint and refit as that will be your 2mm

Please post back if your still having problems.

Nothing wrong with the CNC machine Steve just the human on the packing bench adding extra bits that are not required in these kits.
