my seat has a dead,ish battery and is a round post one.
i have a few month old square post one (ford).
is there a terminal out there to use a square posted battery on a round post car or can i just open out the round post terminals to fit the ford battery?

cut off and refit spades to it

stupid idea imo though as for dont even use square terminals anymore, we sell conversion kits at work rather than ordering in the ford posts due to the cost of them these days

 

think the seat battery is a 065/075hd

 

You can just open up the round terminal and fit, this is what I did when I fitted a ford battery to my astra as that too was round post.

when i put new battery on my cos supplier couldnt get square post anymore so they supplied adapters to go on round posts to fit connectors to.

 

they still do square terminals...................honest.........

 

You can as said still get square but are less and less people making them for a ever dwindling market.
