He was funny as fook and really had awesome power for a featherweight. One of my all time fav's. Some of his knockout were incredible. He was better and faster as a bantamweight though.

The nut's footage is shithot, really brings back memories wathchin him. Some of the stuff he did in the ring was hilarious, and the after fight interview with Kevin Kelly was qaulity.

People allways say he was shown up by the first decent opponent ie Barrera. But he fought load's of quality opponent's infact he fought eveyone he should. There's no shame losing to one of the great's and the love for the sport had long gone. He lit up the sport IMO.

Check you tube out for recent interviews, he's still got the talk.

Top champions come back after a defeat and win at the top level. Hamed couldn't do it then and certainly could not do it now.

That's why I said his love for the sport had long gone. Should have stayed with Ingle. He was mega rich by the time he met Barrera. I agree that a true champ would try to go on, but I still rate him as one of the best of his era.

And as for a comeback, no chance he's just takin the piss.
