curry hell(north east peeps)
in another post ,this is mentioned.In newcastle`s Curry Capital.
My mates wife eats phalls for fun,think we will pop up and let her try this one lol
Anyone tried it,is it realy that bad,they say it makes a vindalloo look like ice cream!!!!

i've heard about this bt i just cant see the pleasure in something so hot. I like a nice hot curry but when they mae them just for the heat and not the flavours and spices i just cant see the point.
Wouldnt mind a little taste though

alps,she loves hot food as do i ,but i wouldnt even eat a phall.Had a fork full last time(after i finished mine)fuck me it was great for about 6 secs then it cicked in lol

yes i have had the phall,but like madras and vindaloo the strength depends from chef to chef,although all phalls will make you sweat buckets and having to drink lots of water lol

Been up to Curry Capital tonight, both me and the wife tried Curry Hell and its definitely fuckin hot It tasted shite, like a powdery chilli sort of taste. A small amount dipped on a piece of naan bread is enough to disable your tongue, it is arse bleedingly hot
Its free if you eat a full Ł6.99 portion of it, but we only got a half portion Ł3.95 as a tester. If you manage to eat it all you are presented with a certificate by the management and a free roll of frozen baby wipes
When we ordered it the waiter asked us "curry hell... are you sure sir?"
Fantastic meal, fantastic staff, even if the place did look a bit like an working mans club inside, lol. We will be going back again

thats the problem with hot currys the flavours are just not there.
my regular is a madras/vindaloo but bunha is my fav flavour

I used to have phall every time I went for a curry, even been known to ask for extra hot phalls, and finished them no probs.
Its a case of getting used to them. I used to think Madras was hot, then I got used to them and started having Vindaloo. They were not much different than Madras TBH. Then I jumped to Tindaloo. That is a BIG jump - then when I tried Phall, it was pretty much the same as Tindaloo.
But as said, it does vary VERY much from place to place.
Ive had a madras from one place thats been hotter than a phall from another.
The aftertaste from a phall is unsurpassed tho IMO
Bog roll in the freezer time tho

i think i will stick to my "blue dragon chilli sauce" . asda sell it and its quiet nice . just got a bit of a kick in it so you can still feel your tongue lol

I saw a video of some girl eating that curry hell... she ate it and it didnt appear to have any effect on her. its a shame that Abdul latif died... I believe he use to give free meals to service people..
All this talk of curry is making me hungry.. might try a phall as vindaloo is quite tame imo.
oh as for chilli sauce, Dan T's fiery inferno is nice.. dont know how it compares to the suff above though

The Vindaloo
The Base Sauce
Lamb/chicken
3 onions, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 TBSP salt
2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
6 large garlic cloves, crushed
2 TBSP Paprika
1.5 tsp Ground Corianda
3/4 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 TSP turmeric
2 inch cinnamon
1 black cardamoms, broken open
2 black peppercorn
1 TBSP fresh chopped coriander
1 TBSP veg ghee
The Spices
In The Pan
Chicken In
After 30 Mins before blending Chicken Out
Base Sauce Done, Note British Coriander
The Vindaloo
1/4 Tsp Salt
4 Tsp Chilli Powder
1" Fresh Ginger grated
