Default cosworth head ??????

could any one tell me if the 4x4 and a 2wd cosworth head thickness is the same if they both have'nt been skimmed??

ok thanks mate. is there a better head out of the 2?? just that i'm thinking of putting a 2wd onto a long studded bottom end and want to run 450-500bhp.

its not that simple, as changing from 2wd to 4x4, or vice versa, changes the cr, so you need to calculate what you will end up with...

2wd head is lower compression but 4x4 is a slightly better design,cooling wise,but the late 2wd heads are just as good ive been told by ggr

ive ran 2 early 2wd headswith no issues though

ive ran 2 early 2wd headswith no issues though
as said ,4/4 head is better for cooling ,go for one with as much left on as possible, 139 mm is standard height if you can find one ,bit scrace on the ground now
