Started with internet access problems yesterday, a few sites we regularly use ( and one i moderate on ) i cant get on at all, there are no problems with the sites as ive asked other people to see if its working fine for them and it is.

Ran a tracer ( thanks to chip showing me what to do ) and theyre timing out. Ive rang Virgin who said its not a problem at their end and its a problem with the websites. ( dont know how it can be if other people are able to access them easily ) and to contact the administrators HOW when i cant get on the sites to contact them

Anyone got any ideas? I started it in safe mode to see if it was windows defender stopping it ( im on vista) but its not

Have you tried clearing your cookies?

 

Have you tried throwing the laptop out of a 3 storie building and then getting one without Vista?

 

You might have a virus called "virtumonde" or "virtumundo", very hard to get rid of and detect !


I have a removal tool if all else fails !

 

Just try it on Firefox if you haven't already...

i can access the sites using a different free proxy server so theres obviously a routing problem but how do i resolve it?

I bloody hate this vista, is this likely to be causing it or is it just Virgin being shit?
