Hi mate,
If its solid colour then your fine! We do a complient 2K commercial paint ( DUPONT IMRON ELITE ) Top quality stuff and gives unbelievable finish!

Paul NYRS Spares has done his Project 500 in this and will vouch for the paint!

If metallic or pearle, then you knackered and will have to use water base!

Commercial paint? What would you paint with that, out of interest? Would lorries, etc not be covered under water based paints too?

Just curious, thats all.

They still used solvent based primer and clearcoat but water everything else.

i can still get all the 2k paints etc, i think most commercial paint shops are now water based though, i had to get a litre of subaru blue to do a bumper and rs turbo mercury grey for some bumpers and mirrors, Ł42 a litre though, think you've just got to hunt about mate.

And just make sure the HSE don't catch you spraying it! Otherwise they'll have your pants down!

Solvent based 2k HS is 1000 times better than water based but legally now u have no choice because of new emission laws.
