Can anyone confirm these are suitable for the job please??

I used 16mm hole size, M10 thread on both 2 & 4 posters and had no problems ever.

you just need std rawl bolts for that job mate, them bolts oyu posted are far too OTT for this job.

You'll need a SDS drill and bit too dont forget! unless you have a mighty drill then 32mm is out of question..... 16mm is about the limit to most home drills and thats pushing it.

10 or 12mm ideal as the ramps under compression and the bolts only help stop it tipping.

Dave....not doing it till the weekend - that should give it a good 5 days - will that not be enough dya reckon?

SillyFezzaMk1 - its no problem getting hefty drill bits - I have a friendly tool hire company I borrow all this stuff from anyway - M20 is the size of the holes on the mounting plates so I was merely going off that - I'll probably go for M16s then so I have some adjustment there if I need it. Rather have overkill to be honest.

AlexF - excellent, what size are they mate?

Lee, 32mm is nuts, but on the other hand, it's better to have as big as poss just in case......!

If the holes in the plates of the lift are 20mm go for either m16 rawl or resin set studs.
