mates driving your cars
I let a mate of mine take my car to work with him the other day to get a quote on a scratch in the rear quater as he is a painter.
He phones me today telling me there is a vid on youtube so i looked and found this...

depends how you drive your car also IMO, i loan mine to a mate of mine,,, never have a issue with it tbh and he may give it beans
its people who TRY to break it when they are driving it i dont like,, you know the ones,,, start doing donuts to impress others,,,, as if its there car for a moment ect
i aint got a issue with people driving my car, i let jim take mine round the ring for a lap and i never restricted hes speed,,,, though im a bad passenger
just dont drive it harder than I do is all i ask which is more than fair
though i dont pretend that my car is worth loads,,, its a 4 grand motor at the end of the day

There is no one who could honestly say that he has driven my car, expect my dad a year ago when he wanted to test it before letting me to drive it to the MOT station to get plates on it. I don't trust to my mates driving skills... Theyre all FWD fags really.

No i did say to have a play in it. Whats the worst that can happen to the car? he painted it once i'm sure he could paint another if he wrapped it up.
ALTHOUGH i lent a different mate my shogun once and he cooked it big style he said the top hose split.I said ok no worries not your fault. Only to find later that he carried on driving it, doing club runs trying to top it up as he went. it eventually stopped dead What a wanker!!!

a "mate" of mine was entrusted to take my car for some exhaust work
found out he didn't go and had been raging the shite out of it around the local estates
he is no longer a "mate" but that might be something to do with the fact he thinks i stiched him up for Ł800
it was only Ł150, but he likes to exagerate

Exactly my thoughts and it would be some effort to drive it harder than me lol

obviously it would depend on what happened if he crashed it its his fault. If it went bang its mine as i said put your foot down and see what you think.

btw i used to have a turbo van YEARS ago, they spent AGES waiting for parts for it, i got the proper hump with em, called em and was told they was still waiting for a head gasket
went down there to see if i could help out and get the part for them,,,, when i got there the van wasnt anywhere in sight, was told " hes taking it for a test drive"
i waiting, i swear i heard it from a mile away,, it was getting LOUDER too,,, some kid turns up NAILING it down the road, stops on a penny then gets out, opens the back and starts taking out bits of suspention and cans of antifreeze ect ect
they fixed it and was using it like a delivery vehicle, they had it for 2 fucking months too
got it back that day FOC with no charge,, cheekt cunts they are
