Silky16v being the other half, a good mate of mine for about 10 years now, and a regular poster on here.
He's owned a lot of cossies now, both saphs and escorts, but couldnt stop going on about how good that one is, high praise indeed IMHO

It jus sits down & f**ks off !! No f**kin about like in mine
Like we was sayin the other night down the meet, I honestly think Rich's Cossie would do mine down the mile !! The way back up would be a different story tho !!
Am so so impressed with your car Rich, really glad for ya !! Can't wait to get mine up to Mark now for the same treatment !!

Tony was gonna have it
But wit the cam belt failure & a few VERY good friends helpin out, I've managed to source an Autronics ecu (at a VERY good price) which is gonna be fitted within the next month or so & then the car will be takin to Mr Autronics for his magic touch !!
I can't wait !!

P.s. I know Tony would of condemed my car & it would of cost me too much money to put right !!

Yeah last Saturday, followin Twins outta Southers on the 127, doin roughly 2k rpm in 5th, jus heard a pop & the engine stopped !!
Done a quick check, everythin looked ok, belt still on & everything ok, I asked Twins to keep eye on the cam pulleys while I jus flicked the ignition over & sure enough the engine turned, the cams didn't move !!
I'd changed the belt myself about 6 months ago & everything been fine, the teeth have fallen off the belt round the bottom pulley !! Gonna whip the lid off tomorrow afternoon to check for damage, Mark says there's some big pockets in the pistons so I "might" be lucky ??
Car's been runnin strong tho with this engine for over a year now, never missin a heart beast so can't complain to much the engine is deffo strong & the base map was propa !! Jus now is the time to sort EVERYTHING out, otherwise, i'll jus fix it & keep driving it, never gettin it sorted !!

Then the other thing is, no servo assisted brakes, no PAS, hardly any suspension travel & usually bald tyres (not at the mo tho) means not many people would want to map it, let alone get in it or drive it !!
Ask anyone thats been out in it, so I was kinda embarrased to hand the car to anyone !!
This way, I drive the car while Mark maps it, so not half as bad as I know the car so well !! I know how to drive it & get the best from it !!
She has taken some stick !!
