hello all, ive got the new bt hub a month or so ago and was very happy with it till i had a problem with my line, a bt enginer came and fixed the broblem for the line but my broadband speed was absolutly crap!! they told me my line could get up to 2.7 meg so i pay them 24.99 a month for speeds up to that amount, so i tested my line before it came when i was with tesco and it was around 512 this was spot on as i was paying tesco 18quid for 512, the hub came and i changed over to bt and checked the speed it was 1.5meg i was happy with that, i tested it later in the night and was 2.7meg... so all was good , until this line problem!!! now i only get speeds of around 128kbs!!!! so when the bt enginer was at my house i got him to test everything we tryed a laptop insteade of my pc , we ran the hub from the master we changed my master adsl socket whitch has the filter in the faceplate to a bt oem with a filter and that socket was even slower so adsl face plates with in built filters or faster!! he then ran a bt master socket from the lead that feeds into the house and absolutly no change in speed still crap, so from all that he said the problem deff lies between outside the house to the exchange and that i have to ring them in the morn.. so rang them fookin pakistan!!!! struggled to understand them and he wanted me to check all of what i have just said!!! i told him a bt enginer had just checked everything and the problem is with bt.. been on the phone for fookin hours and still not resolved, im now waiting to here from them.. my hub tells me

but im not getting that! and my Line attenuation (Down/Up) 58.0 dB / 31.5 dB
i used to down load @ over 200bps now i struggle to get 15bps so what the fook is going on?? i think its just a case of some were they have turned the gain down
