tech edge afr meter

i have a full data logging afr meter that i used in my escos,is there much point fitting it into a zetec n/a on throttle bodys?
should i bother to monitor the afr readings?

i know i will need to set it up, but i was thinking its not like turbo engine where a weak mixture will fubar it.
