30 to 130mph Venue required
Hey can anyone advise me on any venues with a road long enough to organise a 30 - 130mph sprint please & the general cost of a days hire if you know, links & advice appreciated please.

brunters should do as it dosent take that long to get from 30 to 130 dose it
what sort of cars are you thinking of???

Well its still in the early stages, need to look at venues, costs, then invites if its viable, so hence i need your help, keep ideas/suggestions coming but would prefer genuine info, not pub talk etc...

depends how fast the cars are. what you thinking of inviting?
big power cars wouldnt need anything near as long as brunters, but shit cars would need longer.

Its not the venue cost thatss gonna be the killer expense, its the public liability insurance for and event like that.

well how much does it cost at brunters for the high speed run then ? IF this ever gets off the ground it will be EVOs primarily, any spare places i will offer on the various forums i use.

would love to see this organised with a ford specific day - would certainly give some facts and hard numbers to the BHP levels some claim. Just imagine the number of excuses that would come out. I say bring it on.
The Evo days were run at brunters, cost about Ł100 per car I think and there were forty of them. The MLR wouldnt have run this ata loss so must have included all costs re insurance etc.
Most people got 6 runs in and could do standing starts, rolling starts, top speeds whatever.
Vbox data was made available to those who wanted it.
Edit: forgot to say the Evo's only needed half of brunters from the bottom to the first turn around......you Ford boys might need the whole length to get to 130 so costs might go up if you need to hire more of Brunters, or you could do a 30-80 day instead
