When people ask top money for rare RS's no one batters an eye( Is a 70K RS500 worth Ł20K really? Its only the same ), but cos its a Nova they do! I know its a Nova, but they were an icon back in the day, 20 years old now, so good ones and rare ones ( nova sports, L reg GSi's etc ) should always command good money to the right person!
When people ask top money for rare RS's no one batters an eye( Is a 70K RS500 worth Ł20K really? Its only the same ), but cos its a Nova they do! I know its a Nova, but they were an icon back in the day, 20 years old now, so good ones and rare ones ( nova sports, L reg GSi's etc ) should always command good money to the right person!

you'd get the same respons if you asked 4k for an XR3i!
maby if its was something like a vaxhaull lotus carlton, i could just (
) about see the appeal.How can you try and compare rare Rs's like a 500 with a nova.
I can apreciate the Gsi was a limited run, and are "like hens teeth", but so were so many other cars which the odd few models were tarted up with a different badge and sold at a higher price tag.

If it was a nova sport in good condition, I would bite your arm off at that money.
A sport is comparable with an rs500 in terms of being by far the most desireable of the breed.
What you have though is just a nova gsi, naff all special about it other than its quite a late one IMHO

The car is a Rare L reg and only 30 GSi's were produced on a L plate.
If it was an S1 people wouldnt blink, but a good Nova now a days are like hens teeth, especially a L plate.
The car can sit for another 10 years, thats not my proplem its the reply's / enquiries i get! Ive had 14 now and not one is genuine interest! Sorry, tell a lie, one person said worth every penny, but owns a Nova Sport and cant afford two!

bored of the evo don't be silly especially with the latest mods
i need another project pal, i'm already building a 300bhp+ Nova Gsi for a mate and i want something else to work on once thats finished i would quite like to build a similiar spec 1.6 8v to what was in my GTE when i bought it as that was awesome for the B-roads

nah got my mates car for that as i'm building it i get to use it
the Evo if i want to be entertained
and if i bought nova it would be an weekend toy when i want a blast down the country side without the cost of filling the evo up and the weight of a C20let Nova
TBH it caught my eye and i looks just right but we will see if it comes together

I swear to god Karl I had an identical Nova to that when I was 19,sold it for my first Cossie,fuckin mint cars they are,would have loved to been in one with a 2.0 turbo in it

personally i think this this posts gone to shit, nova gsi's were proper rally cars and to say they are not special when i saw the legend dave metcalfe (rip) rally a dealer sport one is bollocks. doesn't any fucker remember the groupa rally nova gsi's
