yes rich

that shell was history, but like all btcc teams from the time, most had used up to four shells each season,

just watch the races theses btcc cars got some serious damage when they raced them,

over eager passing moves, and proberly the fact that they did not pay for any damage they done to the cars.

doug,

the reynard built and run the cars in 97/98 not very good results.

and prodrive built and run the cars in 99 and 2000

the money that prodrive spent on them was massive and race winns will follow,

in 2000 ford prodrive mondeos finished 1st 2nd 3rd in the championship, thats domination, could be something to do with spending 8 million pounds running three cars in 2000

thats why the btcc changed into the boring state its in now, all to save money

and have decided now to get a complete one, front wheel drive,
seen the light at last

Quite pleased at Sketch doing 1.30's in mine at ND 2004. He'd never driven the car before and to think its only a 1596cc N/A FWD shed. SiB - had I been behind the wheel mate you would have been had, as you were only about 2 secs quicker than your bro' in your Stage 3 turbo

Not sure how Formula Saloons races are going these days but the big power cossies have only just started to catch them up last i'd heard.
Have spoken to many of the new super touring car owners and those cars sound awesome on track, just don't try a 3 point turn.
The Primara's were exceptionallly well built cars too.

Good luck and you MUST get one, but make sure you buy a 100% complete and fully sorted one with a truck load of spares as a set of replacement wheel bearings for a '98 Nissan is Ł2000

Hi guys

i was on donnington yesterday (first time ever) and was running 1.48 in a track prepped XR2i (bog standard 1.6i CVH engine) with road tyres.

It was also very, very wet

Is this resonable ??

I thought Steve Scott was quicker than the Bailey Mk2!

He was behind him and then in front of him, and then he pulled away from him. Looked faster too!

Great choice Martin!

Times are irrelevant..... its all about the fun factor As long as you had fun then what the hell does it matter at this stage

Brom, i seen u do a 1.50 in the saff with 500bhp, slower than the 160bhp crx in the wet, very cool laptimes....

Sunny, u did 178 and yet u don't believe me......pot, kettle, black:-cock - circuits have bends mate, u should like that.

I did a 1.20/1.19 on slicks, racing shaggy who was doing same laptimes all day in the scoob.
Pug does 1.25 with the mi16 on slicks.

Mellow did a 1.15 apparently in his saff on timing gear

John felstead did a 1.18 first time out in the westie, down to a 1.16 i think.

Mike's V8 westie has done a 1.11 on slicks, 346bhp 6speed sequential box f3000 uprights etc...

thought gareth lloyd was 1.10 was he best and 1.11/12 was paul baileys

John F did a 1.18 in a scoob RA when it was 280bhp - again from what i can remember...

I lap slower on my new setup as i aint used to it, when i did the best lap times in the escort the car blew up LOL on a cool down lap @ 1 bar think my best is a 1.26 on road tyres.....

Yes that was nicolas kiesa...

And it was an unofficial record this time, so therefore not... ehh.... official

AND he has just been in england with a skyline to a track day with all the quickest tuners in europe, but havent heard the lap-times yet...

Unoffical is the F2000 F1 Ferrari i believe set by martin brundel @ 51secs. The record holder is a also an old F1 car. This car is mixing with 900bhp 500kilo machines.
