2 Grand at auction!

Sorry, fook all wrong with the motor! (apart from the griffin badge!)

Big depreciation!!

(will amplify that statement on thursday, one is up!!!)

I'd keep it! It will last for ever but is worthless, compared to the purchase price, i bet!!

Don't like giving bad news but vectra's ( especially that year) are no goer's!!

You need to go private and get someone in love with the car cause it is worth more than the book price!!!!

If you can bullshit somebody!

And you are not ripping them off cause i fookin hate that!!!

You need a monkey like me that will pay the price i think its worth!!!!

It might be lower... but it has been more than the geezer actually wanted as well (hasn't it nige - 4x4 saff ring a bell), which if you find the right one you'll pay over the "book price".

The bad news is there isn't many people want a "w" vectra in any spec, especially gas guzzling 2.5 litre ones!

Hope i'm wrong, will give update on this thursdays auction!!!

PS;
model changes do you over big time!!
if the focus cossie is released watch the focus RS boys start sweating!
saw one for £24000 yesterday, and he'll get close to that!!!
(700 miles)
Introduction of a focus cossie would suck a good £5000 a year for the first couple at least off of those (sorry nowt wrong with the focus RS).

had a look at lunch, there are a few scratches on it, nothing major tho.

good tyres all round, needs a hoover, and a clean, he said he sometimes gets a thing on the trip computer saying about the brake pads, they look like they have a fair left tho, discs have bit of a lip. also, there is not much history, and he has not had it serviced in the 14 months he has owned it. he is the 4th owner also.

engine looks quite clean, zorst looks ok too. interior seems ok aswell

he needs to sell car for a deposit on a house as he got banned from driving monday (DD the cock)

hes not sure when the cam belt was changed, he will let me know tomoz.

i rang the vauxhall garage, they said full service is £145 all in, cam belt change is £310 all in, front brake discs/pads £155 all in

is it hard to DIY the cam belt, anyhing specail needed??? as if my mate buys it he wont want to pay £300, and i can do a service on it too.

my mate is gonna look at it tomoz, so if he brings cash ill tell him to offer him your £2300 lol

cheers for the help mate.

apples, didnt get it HPI'd but it was bought from carcrafet by pervious owner, they done a 120 point check, but it seems legit.

steve, yes i have now looked under the bonnet - fook that!!

guy said it had its cam belt done when he bought it (he thinks) but my mate is till gonna get it done just incase.

needs a service, i can do that, and its needs new front brakes soon, not straight away tho.

book price for it was about £4k too, so all in i think we blagged a goodun lol

Just don't pull the spark plug leads off - you only get like 1 or 2 goes, then it will start to missfire. New leads time

Heard of a few cars like this

Might be better off asking on one of the vaux boards, but my brother had it, was talking to a friend of a friend, he had it as well. Took his to a garage saying he had a missfire, the first thing they said was have you taken the leads off. Then here at work a guy with a GSI was under his bonnet looking around - he had a miss and the night before had had a service, where they changed the plugs. New set of leads cured all of the above.

hey mate cheers for the info, i spoke to me mate earlier, he has done a HPI now, came back clean as a whistle

he is gonna pay to get the cam belt done also, i said id do it, then opened the bonnet - fook that!!

the guy is 35 and bought it from carcraft 14 months ago, and payed £6000 plus £300 for extended warrenty.

he has to sell because he has just recieved a ban for drink driving, only just over limit, if he had been 1 microgram less, he would have walked out with nothing, hes gutted, and has to sell the car for a deposit on a house, cos his missus has just kicked him out, hes not having a good time at tho mo and i feel sorry for the guy.

but me mate got a bargain and a half!
