Default FAO Chip/Martin etc- LS engine external dimensions?

As title really, im sure Chip knows, and Martin may well too actually.

What do they weigh too?

Also, aside from prices, I dont suppose you know if there is any advantage to a LS2 over an LS3 is there? 3s seem better all round, inc safe revs, but I dont know much about them to know if a 2 is stronger or something, only V8s I know well is Ford Windsors.

Cheers in avance

With patience to search, lots of info here

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/index.php?

Dimensions etc more likely to be found in the Conversions and Hybrids section.

As for LS1,2,3,6,7 L92 etc etc etc etc etc

Again, the info will be in there, but more important it what do you want to do with it ?

The LS2 is a perfectly good engine, as is an LS3 ( almost the same block anyway, albeit with larger bore )

The Viper engine is too big, and in terms of power per litre......LS wins hands down.

And the LS for what it is, is bloody compact !!!

The Vette LS6 variant above, is the shortest. Water pump is pretty much same on them all, but front pulley and accessories sit 1" further back on the Vette, compared to GTO/Monaro, Camaro etc etc etc
