hi, i have bought a set of rs7 diamond cut wheels. could someone tell me the right tyre size for these wheels, they have 205/40/17 on at the moment but they look like they are stretched on and doesnt handle very good, they pull you all over the place. cheers

 

how wides the wheel? 205 would be fine on a 7" or 7.5"wheel. maybe its the fault of the tyres if they are poor quality.

 

They were made as an option for the mondeo and would have 215/45 tyres iirc. I have the same wheels with 205/40's on my S2 and it drives fine, certainly doesn't pull all over the road. I'm guessing you have a fault with the car, maybe tracking would be a good start to have checked?

 

they have yokohama a539's and the tracking was checked a week before i put them on, when the standard wheels are put on its fine. i had the wheels balanced as well as i thought this mite of been the problem. the cars lowered 35mm so this probs doesnt help.
