Default Photoshop and EPS files.....

Now, I'm OK on Photoshop, not great, but I do have a fairly good understanding of it. However, somethings do still catch me out.

I've got an EPS file that I am currently working with and want to change the colour of the logo. I'm using the colour code that I'm familiar with and have always used, but when I use the fill option on Photoshop, the colour that it applies within this EPS file is different.

Even if I go back afterwards and use the Eyedropper to pick the new colour up, it has a different code to that which I applied.

I suppose that Photoshop isn't the best program to use to work with EPS files and I have little understanding of them anyway.

More than likely you are in the wrong image mode for that colour set. Essentially what you see and what the computer see's are different things entirely.

My suggestion is to go to Image > Image Mode > RGB Colour.
