Sorry but kids aren't going to poster their wall with a reasonably priced family car. Never have, never will.
The masses just don't want something so outlandish. I think they have found the right balance with that. The old folk won't mind owning that and it's got a bit of pazazz for youngsters too.
OK, I agree and RS version would be rude, but who knows whether it's financially viable for Ford? They must have weighed it up already. God knows, look how long it took them to do a new Focus RS.
aye i see your point. Could jus be my non super-car wanting ways lol like i sed in another post yesterday with all this bout cosworth re doing block and stuff. Bring out a new one or rebuild the classics, not on a mass scale obvs
iv just realised a few years ago they did it the other way round with the fiesta & the masda 121 lol
iirc Ford own about a third of Mazda and have done for quite some time, lots of Mazdas have the zetec engine in and cars like the Tribute/Explorer or those pick up things are more or less identical down to the different badges.
as already said above, Ford own a considerable chunk of Mazda so to think that the cars would be miles apart would be silly............it's all down to cost and profit margins at the end of the day.
I really like it tbh. Nice little car for the missus and would like to see an ST version or in an ideal world a Fiesta RS.
I think that looks smart as, alot better than some sh1te out these days. As said ford is there to sell cars not push barriers, look at the new mondeo and jag. Im not sure how many ive seen as its near impossible to tell which one is which.
