The BBS rims have BBS stamped on them on the front, the replicas I've seen didn't

So it is a noticeable thing then?

Ive been offered some reppy's cheaply enough, but if originals aint much dearer id rather go for them.

Original 19" BBS LM's will cost Ł000's! Reps will cost Ł00's ha ha

I think some of the newer Audis & BMW's come with them as standard so you might be able to find a cheaper 2nd hand set of them

I've got a 19" LM indoors, its been made into a trophy tho - looks good but would look better on a car :0)

Hi Paul,

I HIGHLY recommend Kaefer Motorsport in Germany, thats where I got my LMs from. They ship all around the world and have some very rare BBS wheels available as well as the LM. Having said that you'll have to change your hubs to Granada fitment (easy in your case) for a 5x112 PCD. Speak to Klaus http://www.bbs-racing-wheels.com/

Funny enough lee that was one of main concerns and one of the other reasons I want rid of the standard M3 wheels, as nice as polished wheels look I'd rather have a painted wheel like the CH, did think about the CSL wheels but a lot of M3 owners have them

The polished rims are TOTALLY fine Shiny and mint!

Its the painted centres... paints all bubbled and corroded away on inside on spokes

Think so...

head is firmly in the sand at the moment about it

mainly as from 6ft away they look IMMACULATE and super shiny still...

They are VERY light by the way. you should feel the weight of one compared with the Techarts on the 996 (also made by BBS)

The Techarts weigh 10 tonnes!

lent the car to a mate at the weekend and he called on Sunday morning to say one of the rear tyres were flat. (BRAND new 305 section Michelin PS2!!!... ouch)

Told him to pump it up with compressor under bonnet and see how he got on... it held air ok ish. So I was happy that I may get away with having it repaired...

Maria took the car down to tire place on monday to get it looked at!

and the tyre was fine

BIG 1 inch crack on the inside of the ridiculously expensive wheel though
