At least an auto would kill the urge to take it on track

If its cheap could you not get it as a "tide you over" car?

alternatively, as you dont "need" a car, is it not worth waiting until the right one comes up? Are you happy buying a car with 170k on the clock?

TBH for what he wanted (about 5-600 quid wasnt it) ginge's isnt a bad buy, and would make an ideal track toy later on if we strip it and weld it when you get something decent, instead of selling it on.

Shhhh, if he hears you mention "track toy" he wont sell it to me

mike, thats the idea, its good money and it's fairly reliable. as much as i take the piss out of it for being a shitter, ginge has actually maintained it to a decent level

fuck it, ginge's it is

Cool, i'll make sure ive got some mig wire and angle grinding disks in stock ahead of donno, so we can get it sorted in time for the 29th december for some fun

(im guessing by then you will be bored of it as a road car and want a 535 or something as you change your mind so much, lol)

How pissed off would you be if you flew all the way to edinborough on a one way ticket and then the car was a shitter and you had to buy it anyway due to no other way home

Ps

I had a bloke win my hilux on ebay and then send someone down a couple of hundred miles on the train to collect it, when he got to the trainstation my end where I met him he started trying to haggle, I just pointed at the train station and said his options were pay the full amount to the penny, or get a train home, talk about having NO cards in your hand when he was haggling

I thought uni debt was so cheap it's stupid to pay it off early? I.e. put the money in a savings account and it will gain more interest than your loan is?

When i'm going to look at a car, if they ask where i'm coming from i tell them a place nearer to them if i'm miles away.

Sometimes fun when filling in the logbook, or if they know some1 in that area you have to play the "i've just moved there card".

If you've travelled 200 miles they know your very keen.
