Jim try and find an E45 535i Sport. I've had a couple of them now, and for 600 ish quid I couldn't have asked for a better car!! Wasn't fast by any means, but was hardly slow like my Avensis

Why is everyone banging on about track days. From what I've read Jim doesn't want a track car, he wants a comfy, sporty cruiser thats going to help him shag NON religous burds!!
And lets face it, if he shows up for a date in a Nova he's not getting his dick wet that night......

plenty of 16 year olds would love to sit in his nova, and they'd doubly do so if it was brown with tartan trim
i can understand the machanics at acceleration as one side loads up the other side starts to load up as wll, but under deceleration this would be pretty linear on both wheels would it not?

Jim, they're nice cars!!
218bhp, similar torque. Go well, but not fast if you follow. Look and handle nice, but mega mega comfy and come with EVERYTHING electric!
Seats, mirrors, sunroof etc etc. Auto dimming rear mirror, the passenger wing mirror dips when you put the car in reverse.

that the silver one? i think he wants too much money TBH, and when you start advertising the fact he's replaced bits as "mods" it seems like they're trying to sell it too hard

Not any more than a normal e34 535 just rare so a bit harder to find! my mate had one and sounds ideal for what you want and fairly tidy if you find a decent one. Manual box and a few alpina tweeks cant remember them all but enough to make it chuck-about-able for the cash

did I miss something or were you looking for a track/fun only car? Surely an old 5 series isn't the greatest choice for this? great old pimp cruiser but track/fun??
When you've blown more money on brakes and other track day goodies you may as well have bought another M3? they're peanuts now.
