Default Fiesta RS1800

Are they anygood?
Ive always liked em looks wise.
If i get rid of the cossie i fancy a hothatch again and are quite tempted by them. Just been looking on autotrader and didnt realise they went up to n reg!

With a good tuning/chip etc etc what sort of reliable power/performance can u expect?

Im thinking about 1500 on a car, then spend abit of the left overs on alloys/tuning etc
Cheaper to run than the cossie and more useable everyday (i will dare to leave it in a carpark when shopping unlike the cossie lol)

Probably get a reliable 150BHP. Or go for a 2.0L Zetec conversion then 170-180 BHP is possible.

Early ones had no PAS but you got Recaros.

Later ones had PAS but no Recaros (You get wingback Si style seats which are quite nice instead)

www.fiestaturbo.com will give you some more info.

Get an si and do a 2.0 conversion or buy one already converthed. Cheaper insurane and faster than an rs1800

No offence, but i hate the shape of the si, plus id much rather have a proper rs1800!
Insurance isnt a prob, just got a quote and its 40 quid less a month than the cossie so thats fine by me lol
Id probably have about a grand to spend on mods, so im sure i could get it to be good fun
