It's on my brother's profile & Kelv, you know it !! Was portraid very badly & not in the nature in which it was filmed i.e. the producers loved it & kept eggin us on for more !!

i remember that actually.funny how they always concentrate on the bad side,like we are all rapists or murders

 

It cracks me up cos when we were doin all the filming for it (over a few weeks), the contracts we all signed stated the title was to be "Driver's 2002", didn't read the small print did we ??

The other thing was, the producers & film crew were properly eggin us on to play up for the camera, in the shots of the bm playin you can even see the producer sittin in the passenger seat, we couldn't get her out !! She absolutely loved it !!

Other thing was aswell, the interviews were like an hour or so long & they ONLY cut the bits out they wanted which made us "look" bad !!

thats what they are always like jb.everyone ive ever had the misfotune of being near has said,"its going to be about the fun side and why you guys meet up,to stop all the bad press about you" yeah right.never ever gets there.

To be honest Dojj, they never said anything bout being from Police, Camera, Action or gave that impression as they were genuinley enjoying themselves & spent quite a few weeks wit us

Yep, we got sorted out for our time & so did me Mummy as thats were all the interviews took place & where we met in the mornings etc

They also did quite a bit of filmin for another documentary which never got aired cos it was crap !! Was bout me, which is why you won't see me in the Drivers From Hell program !!

Got to race peeps round a skid pan course, driver awareness, circuit & advanced drivers course Luckily for me I've had some extensive advance driver training

It all started tho, when Anglia TV was in the back of a undercover fed car that pulled me for speeding on the A127 coming back from Southers, they liked me & asked if I'd like to be involved in a documantry bout it all & put "our" side accross yeah right !! lol

I remember it well as I know most of the people in the film, and the camera crew were saying they were there to show the other side of the car scene, the social aspects, the good bits, people helping each other out etc.

Then (imho predicatably) after gathering probably a couple of hundred hours of footage, they used the worst bits and called the film drivers from hell. LOL

Still, its nice to see the Mile again from "back in the day"

Lookin back now, it was SOOOOOOOOOO obvious what they were gonna do !! But I think all of us were blinkered & oblivious to it !! Me & Snazy went up to Oxford somewhere to a private run way where we went on the skid pan etc. I remember Snaz chattin to the fella bout brake threshhold & hadence braking as the guy was tryin to belittle us. Luckily, Snazy knew what he was chattin bout !!

Then we went for a blat in the Cossie up the run way & a plane ALMOST landed on us !! Seriously !! look up through the sunroof & it was there !!
