My mates just bought one, 1992.

Half an hour on his way home from picking it up, it starts to grind into gear. its happening alot now. Turns out it had a slave cylinder on 10th august, from looking at paperwork. Pressing clutch etc all still seems fine.

So im kinda thinking that, the previous owner new about the problem, had the clutch checked, found that was okay, then changed the slave cylinder, but it bk together and the probs still there,, is tellin us the gearbox is Fecked.

Wondering ur guys thoughts.

Do you no what clutch is in it? is it modified ie would it have a paddle clutch? They do tend to grind in to 2nd gear as standerd lol.

ok mate i will tell him, im thinkin clutch, but i think ex owner has all ready been down that route

if it has a paddle clutch it might just need some adjustment on the peddle
