if he has gone i for one am glad, he was shit for us last season and as people have said nobody is bigger than the club. If he thinks he is to good for us then he can fuck off

I like and rate Darren Bent and feel he's not had a chance and also hope we don't end up letting Campbell go to Spurs permanently but they must be pissed losing not only Keane but also their best player as well? They are a selling club.
Lets be honest though we bought Carrick and he heavily helped us win the PL (and another + CL) but if he stayed at Tottenham he would have won fuck all.
Yes and people believe what you say after saying we are doomed with Ronnie injured yet we have more points than the start last year with a game to go.

Players like Keane increase with value until all the time, remember he went to Inter Milan in 2000 for 13million...the fact that lippi got booted took away his ticket to the italian league and then he went on loan to leeds which became permenant(a feee i can't remember) was then booted out in an exodus in 2002 when leeds went tits up..
He was sold to Spurs for Ł7million(which was fucking cheap if you ask me) and only got better, 107 goals in 253 games is not to be sniffed at...the president of Inter even told the papers he had regretted letting him go without giving him a fair go..
The fact that he is now ROI's leading scorer of all time just proves he is a good player(oh wait...does it ), and hell yes he is worth Ł20 million, he has partnered some of the best players ever, Ronaldo,Christian Vieri and he will continue to do so...

You know people always miss the point about transfer fees. It's not how much a Bent, Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Keane or Berbatov is worth against other players its how much it takes for the club to let them go especially with other clubs making bids.....
Van Nistelrooy scored 150 goals in 220 yet went for Ł10m because he wasn't wanted. Henry at the same age and Shevcenko went for Ł16m and Ł30m but scored less well. Beckham also was considered 'cheap' Its the clubs value and what it takes not yours and not other players.

was at old trafford last nite, and berbatov turned up at about 9:30 and pretty much knew the deal would be done then as Fergie and David Gill were already at the ground

Anyone who has read Roy Keane's book where he said that Dalglish had a verbal agreement to sign him for Blackburn with a scheduled meeting only for Ferguson to call him up get a earlier meeting and arrange the deal of a game of snooker at his home will seem similarites in the Berbatov deal. Daglish then calling up Keane threatening him saying " do you know who I'am"

have you played extacly the same teams as you did this time last year or was they totally different games so how can you even compare
