Perhaps you could have made the title a little bit more interesting like "Pictures of twin turbo YB". That would have got people to look (and Martin worried ) .

Whats with all the tiny KK turbos tho?

I take it the tuner is also a VW/Audi breakers yard so has lots of the std 1.8 Turbo motas lying around....

those inlet manifolds don't look too sophisticated to me

whats the point of 2 small turbos? i can understand in a sequential setup having one small and one larger. in this setup, are they sequential in that first just one comes in, then both come in together, or are they just in paralel?

foreigneRS exactly what i thought, its trick, its different, but technicly its nothing that good, turbo setup, inlet, fuel rail, etc etc, all looks like its different for the sake of different, but not for a good reason

I wouldn't argue, I expct there is a very good reason as the extra weight would n't do it any favour's.
Look at the restrictors too.....must be after lots of torque.

hmmm now there is an idea, may have to check the regulations , but , a turbocharged car inmy sport has to comply with the 34mm restrictor and has its capacity multiplied by 1.7, but is there anything that says you can have 2 34mm restrictors, hence giving a total intake size of 68mm

top idea now does it seam good to have two turbos ?>??

Markk- i cant imagine the rules being THAT daft that you allowed 2 restrictors that allow more power than 1, no way, first thing i thought, but no way, companys arnt daft, theyd all be doing it.

Cossymad, the restrictors are there to limit the BHP as per the rules, nowt to do with the torque, the torque you get on restricted rallycars is just what they tune for as the restrictors limit their bhp tuning possibiltys

I'm not very good with gas dynamics but it can be summed up differently. Ten 3.4 mm rescrictors does not have to be like one 34mm restrictor.

Still I would have to check out on FIA web site if it's really 22mm or maybe less.

The combined Cross Sectional Area of 2 22mm restrictors is 138mm2, and one 34mm restrictor gives 106mm
