Between my dad and I we have 4 apartments and 1 villa there.

2 apartments in Bansko, 2 in sunny coast and the villa is there as well. PM me your e-mail address etc.

Will try and reply tonight or tomorrow.

I went in early june this year with the misses. Sunny beach is i think the main resort and is only approx 30mins from airport. Realy nice with plenty to do for kids and adults. 2 weeks is ample though. Was upper 20's temp wise and cracked 30 couple of times. Very friendly so problems at all. just have to remember its quite a poor country so they will do anything for cash.
Really nice beach!
Watch out for the little pedal-taxis, they rob you! no joke.
I would recomend it though i would say to select as best a holtel as possible utherwise you mite be a bit dissapointed with the food and make sure its central too.

There is a massive sex trade in bulgaria, They buy and sell girls and send them out to work, Even some of the hotels are in on it and dont be surprised if you see hookers walking in with tourists to use rooms Some hotels keep rooms vacant for an hourly rental for the pros :P Oh and depending on where you are in bulgaria depends on the price too :P

Cheap but a bit basic was my experience, but I was in Borovets for the Ski-ing at the beginning of the year. The people are nice enough but not the most outgoing, the country itself was beautiful in places but there is also a lot of poverty once you get out of the 'touristy' bits. The hotel we stayed in was one of the better ones, 5 stars apparently but not 5 UK stars

I'd definitely go again, it has a nice charm that a lot of other places have lost, Spain is a good example.

oh yeah and if its the same in the summer resorts as it was on a lot of the hotels for ski-ing take a plug with you, no-one we spoke to had a plug in the bathroom ??

Sunny Beach for 2 weeks? I was fed up after one...

If getting a sunburn at a beach, and buying fake designer stuff is your thing, then go for it. At least its cheap.
Nice and warm, and a ok beach. average typical tourist restaurants, nothing to write home about regarding service.
