Rant very much on

OK, I've just been chatting to someone on msn & they seem to think that I'm a cunt because I've bought a Ferrari & they're finding it difficult to buy a 5 or 6 thousand pound car (what the fuck they on about? I was a cunt even before I bought my Ferrari)

What I don't get is the person I'm talking about is complaining they're finding it difficult to save up for a 5 grand car but yet they're going out buying stuff they don't need like expensive TVs, PS3's etc etc I mean stuff that they don't even need as the TV etc they already had were like the latest things out last year & then moan that they're finding it difficult to save up

So my rant is this: Why do some people think you're a cunt or something just because you've worked hard & saved up hard to be able to buy what you have?

I understand & know first hand that saving up isn't easy & it's more difficult for some people than others but if you're going to blow your money on stupid stuff that you don't even need then you're hardly in a position to call someone who has saved up hard for something a cunt.

I never think someone is a cunt because they have worked hard and been successful and earned/earn a lot of money and thus have a large amount of money to spend on things they want....

Get this all the time, people judging you by what you own etc. Really does my nut in at times as everybody assumes your made of money and then think you some how owe them a favour or a mojor discount on parts/cars.
Little do they know about my personnel or financial circumstances.
Worked in the motortrade aswell as a few other trades since I was 14, im 28 now, was picking up as little as Ł29 a week as an apprentice but had a good famiily back round and support hence was able to afford what I have now, not that its a great deal but I appreciate it.

Just one of those things i reckon. Saw a mate recently that i grew up with but not seen for a few years. He ended up laying into me basically calling me a c**t cos things are going ok for me. I've made investments and spend practiacally nothing and live very frugally, whilst he spends his money. But because one day my investments might come off this makes me a c**t in his eyes unfortuantely. Was a shame cos we were really good mates, but he reckons he's a socialist now and doesn't believe anybody should have more than others. once peole know you do soemthing for a living they tend to ask for advice and stuff in the belife that as a "mate" you will do it for free and at your cost

if i know someone does something for a living then i'll ask them what their onions are about something, but if it came to actually costing them i'd rather pay a mate a little bit more because at least they'll help out rather thank risk some joe of the street who you may never see again

I sold that M3 ages ago & put my plate on retention - the people who bought it are still driving around with it on the car so I keep being told

In all fairness mate the way it was being driven through the town centre on a busy afternoon with kids about, I think being pinched for a dodgy plate would have been the least of their worries. That's the only reason I paid attention to it as I would usually just think "oh, another M3"

It was spaced dodgy though - like B16 AJ X.

Couldn't you get in shit for speeding fines or if they don't pay for fuel etc if its still on the car?
