As I asked, is it an off the shelf kit, or one made up of parts?
Can you measure the overall width that the calliper is, as this will denote which pads to use, along with sending me the pad dimensions (drawing around the pad and writing the measurements on)?
The only difference is the centre block, which is machined down so that the calliper will fit the 28mm wide disc without the pistins popping out when fully extended (as the could do if it was the CP5555 designed for the 32mm wide discs).
so you have a discs/caliper combination that AP know full well doesnt work hance why they designed a different calper for this specific application. so youre running the WRONG setup?
Mike was actually speculating on those details mate....
This was sold as a complete EVO kit....
there is 1mm pad left on them and the pistons are still in.....
So yes i did read what he wrote, just didn't see the point in replying
Well just draw arround the pad and fax it to me, that way I make sure you get the right one, as I can give you the AP pad reference which Mintex can cross reference .
OK dude, will be monday as the drawing is at home....
But standard 5555 pads should be ok I would have thought
There is no standard, there are three different pad widths and two pad depths to chose from and given that they kit "should" be running a CP5570, I'm not going to guess .
