Removing a stuck tyre valve cap?

Default Removing a stuck tyre valve cap?
Our youngest has put some alloy valve caps with chrome sleeve over the rubber valve on his mum's Focus , and now the caps won't come off.

I can't get pliers on the valve because of the covers, and turning the cap with a spanner feels like the whole valve is turning.

Any suggestions?

Ditto. I did the same when I was young and stupid.

Novelty valve caps are best left to the BMX crew.

In future, always put some grease on before fitting them!
